Terms of Use
The terms on which we provide this website and our coaching services. Last updated: June 2026.
Independent service
This website offers independent coaching and educational resources for the John Locke Essay Competition. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the official John Locke Institute (Oxford). The name “John Locke Essay Competition” is used for identification and reference only. For official rules, dates and entry, always refer to the official competition website.
No guarantee of results
Our role is to help students do their best, original work. We do not, and cannot, guarantee any particular competition outcome, shortlisting, prize, or university admission. Results depend on each student’s own work and the independent judgement of the competition organisers.
Accuracy of information
We aim to keep information on this site accurate and current, but competition rules and dates are set by the organisers and may change. The information here is for general guidance; please confirm all details on the official website before acting on them.
Coaching engagements
- Coaching supports a student’s own thinking and writing; we do not write, co-author, or submit essays on a student’s behalf (see our Academic Integrity commitment).
- Specific scope, scheduling and fees for any programme are agreed directly with you before it begins.
